- Pair of steel tuning forks, frequency A (440 Hz)
- One fork with adjustable mass for altering its frequency
- Includes mallet and 2 pine box bases
- Used in clearly demonstrating ‘beat’ frequencies
- Demonstrates resonance and interference
This premium set of “A” 440Hz steel tuning forks mounted on pine boxes is perfect for physics experiments demonstrating soundwave resonance and dissonance. It comes with a mass adjustment for one fork that will alter frequency, thus allowing for the creation and observation of beat frequencies or to demonstrate sympathy or resonance. Includes two tuning forks (6″L x 0.8″W x 0.5″D), two mounting boxes (7.5″L x 4″W x 2.5H); and one mallet.
